Alternatively, take a domestic flight from SJO to Cóbano Airstrip with a private driver transfer (60 mins.), enjoy a comfortable private car service with a scenic ferry crossing (5 hrs.), or rent a car for a self-drive adventure (5-6 hrs.), though we recommend this option only for experienced drivers.
