ABOUT GREAT CANADIAN HELI-SKIING

Great Canadian Heli-Skiing is located in Golden, BC in the heart of the powder highway. Located near Calgary International Airport and having drive in access to the lodge makes it one of the most convenient heli-skiing operations for arrival and departure while still being located in the heart of the best powder snowfall in the region. What truly makes this lodge unique is it’s location and their fly day rate. Great Canadian boasts a 98% percent fly day rate, which means they are rarely, if ever, unable to fly due to conditions or visibility, making them the gold standard in the industry. Although there are no guarantees when it comes to weather and conditions, Great Canadians unique ability to access terrain even in periods of heavy snowfall or visibility maximizes your chances of getting what you came for.

Great Canadian offers small group, unlimited vertical heliskiing, the most premium way to experience heliskiing in the industry. Small groups maximize safety and make for a more personal experience. They make it easier to match guest expectations and skill levels, so you don’t end up feeling rushed by more advanced skiers or held back by those who like to take it a little slower. They mean less waiting and more skiing. Great Canadian was the first heli-skiing operation to offer unlimited vertical, and the best way to take full advantage is to be smaller, quicker and more nimble. Quite simply, small groups mean more time doing what you love, with the people who matter most.
