ARRIVAL

Getting to Pasha is easy with multiple travel options to suit your needs. For the fastest and most private journey, charter a helicopter or private plane from San José (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) to Manzanillo Airstrip, followed by a short drive to the estate. Alternatively, take a domestic flight from SJO to Cóbano Airstrip with a private driver transfer (60 mins.), enjoy a comfortable private car service with a scenic ferry crossing (5 hrs.), or rent a car for a self-drive adventure (5-6 hrs.), though we recommend this option only for experienced drivers.

SURF

RELAX

Santa Teresa and Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica are ideal surf spots due to their consistent waves, warm waters, and uncrowded beaches. DAY 1

EXPLORE

Corn snow, the result of melt-freeze cycles, is ideal for Alaska heli skiing and boarding—and it holds up well in our margaritas. Pebble-size kernels of softening ice have a soft carve-able surface and our guides are experienced harvesters who know how to predict the best timing for the best locations. Count on corn runs during the morning hours, or at the end of the day, after the cooling has refrozen the round crystals. One Kings and Corn highlight is experiencing a carve-able surface for t-shirt skiing in 75 degrees.

Day 2

KiteSURF

If you fancy giving it a try, the Island has the ideal set up for beginners – the first stage is simply mastering to fly a kite, after which the instructors will help you move to the water to put your skills into practice. They also offer advanced tuition for anyone already riding. 

DAY 3

RESTORE

Find your inner zen with a yoga class or strengthen your core with a fitness coach, at various locations on the island. It’s a great way to appreciate the island’s spectacular sunsets. 

Then take your pick from four infinity pools dotted around the island. A couple even feature a swim-up bar and hot tub. For those brave enough to try it, there’s also a cold plunge by the main beach pool. 

DAY 4

TENNIS

On the island are two beautiful astroturf tennis courts. Surrounded by lush greenery and situated just meters from the ocean, guests can enjoy a Caribbean breeze while showing off their serves, volleys and groundstrokes. The island has also benefitted from the recent addition of two new courts for the latest craze in paddle sports: padel and pickleball. 

Racquets and balls are supplied for all three sports, and all courts are floodlit, enabling guests to play at their leisure. Competitions can be arranged on request for all levels, either in the morning or afternoon.

OFF ISLAND

ABOUT NECKER ISLAND

Necker Island is spread over 74 acres with a 3-mile perimeter and there are a number of trails crossing the island. You can also walk all the way around, something Richard does on a regular basis. From the Great House, it’s a leisurely 6-7 minute walk to Main Beach where most of the activities are based and where you’ll find the Beach House and Crocodile Pavilion. It’s roughly the same distance to the Bali Hi complex and it’s a little bit further to the Bali Lo complex – allow for a 10-minute walk. If you’re in a hurry or it’s just too hot our team will be happy to give you a lift to your destination.

Scarp ridge lodge is totally incredible. full on hotel. The kids loved the bunk house. All the rooms are unique and have their own baths. There is a ton of staff just waiting to help you.
