Tom Barry
Director of Adventures
Tom grew up on Long Island, NY about an hour outside of Manhattan- An unlikely setting for adventure. As a teenager, he was introduced to skiing, kayaking, and other mountain sports He immediately began planning trips with friends to get him off Long Island and into the mountains more often. 20 years later not much has changed. Tom splits his time between Crested Butte and Grand Junction Colorado. Many vacations are launched from his 2008 self-built Sprinter Van which has explored mountain towns, powder stashes, and rivers in 37 states and across the powder highway in British Columbia.

Liz is a passionate Custom Adventure Manager with a deep love for travel and exploring new experiences. A true outdoor enthusiast, she thrives on adrenaline and adventure, whether it’s mountain biking, running through scenic trails, rafting down rivers, hiking rugged terrain, or carving fresh powder while skiing. With her extensive experience in a variety of sports, she is dedicated to crafting personalized and unique adventure experiences for others, ensuring each trip is tailored to individual preferences and offers memorable, life-changing journeys. Whether it’s a peaceful hike through majestic landscapes or an exhilarating multi-sport adventure, Liz is committed to providing extraordinary experiences that inspire others to embrace the spirit of adventure.

As an Aspen native, Brock’s been spending time in the mountains since the day he learned to walk. A passionate skier, he teamed up with co-founder Andy to create Heli, a marketplace for adventure travel. His year’s of experience in technology and startups helped propel the company to what it is today. Brock’s keen sense for the extraordinary has helped forge many of the connections on which the Heli team relies to build “not found anywhere else” adventure experiences. Whether it’s a multiday Egyptian yacht based kite trip, a sail to ski touring experience in Norway, or a heliskiing lodge in British Columbia, Brock has sought out unique experiences to bring them to the Heli platform. In the process, he has brought together members of our community by leading group trips and connecting like minded people within our network.
Andy Culp
CEO
Andy is responsible for management of day-to-day leadership of Heli and its Destinations. His expertise within the global adventure tourism market and with mechanized ski operations distinguishes him as a best-in-class operator. Andy was recruited by CMH Heli-Skiing to grow their sales efforts in NYC. During this time with CMH, he saw the opportunity to consolidate the heliskiing and greater adventure travel market online, which led to the founding of Heli in 2016. Since it’s founding, Heli has grown to serve as a premier booking platform for the world’s best experiences across backountry skiing, kite/surf, bike/cycle, safari, yoga/wellness, and more. Andy has lived in Aspen since April 2019, and still regards himself a degenerate backcountry skier and kitesurfer, ruthlessly committed to self discovery and improvement, dedicated to all things fitness, wellness, longevity and healthspan.
Brad Ludden

Brad was born at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming, and raised in the Rockies of Northwestern Montana. His days have always been spent outside — through all four seasons, across continents, and on some of the world’s most remote rivers, charting unexplored territory. It is in the heart of the wild, natural moment that Brad comes alive, a draw that led him to start First Descents. An avid pilot, skier, outdoorsman, and whitewater kayaker, Brad sees the stoke from every angle, and most enjoys watching the sun rise and set in places where he feels small and insignificant against the backdrop of extraordinary adventure. He is a former professional whitewater kayaker, and the founder of First Descents, a nonprofit organization that provides free, life-changing outdoor adventures to young adults impacted by cancer.
