BROCK STRASBOURGER
President
As an Aspen native, Brock’s been spending time in the mountains since the day he learned to walk. A passionate skier, he teamed up with co-founder Andy to create Heli, a marketplace for adventure travel. His year’s of experience in technology and startups helped propel the company to what it is today. Brock’s keen sense for the extraordinary has helped forge many of the connections on which the Heli team relies to build “not found anywhere else” adventure experiences. Whether it’s a multiday Egyptian yacht based kite trip, a sail to ski touring experience in Norway, or a heliskiing lodge in British Columbia, Brock has sought out unique experiences to bring them to the Heli platform. In the process, he has brought together members of our community by leading group trips and connecting like minded people within our network.
Andy Culp
CEO
Andy is responsible for management of day-to-day leadership of Heli and its Destinations. His expertise within the global adventure tourism market and with mechanized ski operations distinguishes him as a best-in-class operator. Andy was recruited by CMH Heli-Skiing to grow their sales efforts in NYC. During this time with CMH, he saw the opportunity to consolidate the heliskiing and greater adventure travel market online, which led to the founding of Heli in 2016. Since it’s founding, Heli has grown to serve as a premier booking platform for the world’s best experiences across backountry skiing, kite/surf, bike/cycle, safari, yoga/wellness, and more. Andy has lived in Aspen since April 2019, and still regards himself a degenerate backcountry skier and kitesurfer, ruthlessly committed to self discovery and improvement, dedicated to all things fitness, wellness, longevity and healthspan.
CELIA SMITH
HOST
Celia has dedicated her career to finding extraordinary people to create meaningful relationships in some of the most exotic destinations on the planet. With 10+ years of organizing, hosting, and leading group trips to adventure destinations, and a background in content, brand building, and personal development, she is the ideal person to have leading our Heli Black trips, facilitating conversations amongst guests, and crafting experiences that lead to deep connections. Spending her time between Colorado and Miami, but often living the life of a digital nomad, she brings a wealth of experience in helping source incredible travel opportunities and her talents as a diver and snowboarder.
